Micro-Humanitarian Instant Impact

After Kharkiv last week, a new distribution of computers took place in Ivankiv oblast, a region close to Kyiv which has been home to many children displaced from areas close to the front since the end of the Battle of Kyiv.

Of the 28 computers distributed, 15 were donated to a primary school in Ivankiv and 13 to low-income families. Our volunteer, Tomek, was able to meet these families in person, whose children are taking distance learning courses, while their parents cannot afford to buy the equipment.

Let's not forget that the average monthly salary in Ukraine is 400 euros, making it the country with the lowest GDP per capita in Europe. The war has not only increased inflation, but also plunged many families into major financial difficulties, particularly when fathers are called up to the front.

Thank you to Régis Harpocrate and the whole team of volunteers from the French NGO Action Numérique Solidaire for its unfailing collaboration on this programme.
