Micro-Humanitarian Instant Impact

1f49b.png The first of our Tsikava Hatka has been installed!

Sunday, to mark the date on which international is celebrated in Ukraine, we installed the very first shelf of our new Tsikava Hatka programme at the National Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv.

Tsikava Hatka means " La Maison Curieuse "in Ukrainian.
It's a symbolic name that captures the very essence of the project - a warm and welcoming little house that awakens curiosity, stimulates the imagination and provides a sense of security for children in hospital.

Each of these little houses is filled with books, toys and games designed to bring joy, stimulate the imagination and support the emotional healing of children faced with illness or trauma.

Everything - the furniture and all the contents - is made in Ukraine. It's also an important gesture for us, enabling us to support the local economy.

This magical moment was made possible by Natalia, our coordinator in Kyiv, who carefully set up every element on site, and her assistance super efficient, patient centre that was able to inaugurate this facility.

This is the first in a series of 20 Tsikava Hatka, which will soon be installed in paediatric hospitals throughout Ukraine.

And that's just the beginning. Playing heals. Stories give hope. Let's fill every shelf with both.

A huge thank you to Just Answer Jax Fund and Andy and Sara Kurtzig for their generous support.

Would you like to help us bring even more of these magical corners to hospitals across the country?
