Micro-Humanitarian Instant Impact

The programme Tsikava Hatka - literally "the curious house in Ukrainian - is still going strong. Designed to provide warm, playful spaces for children in hospital, it transforms hospital corridors into places of dreams and imagination, thanks to small house-shaped libraries filled with books, educational toys and board games.

The houses and everything in them are made in Ukraine, supporting the local economy and giving children in hospital a bubble of comfort at the heart of their daily medical routine.

After an initial installation in Kyiv in early 2025, followed by around twenty in Kremenchuk, Poltava, Konotop, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Kherson, Dnipro  and Kramatorsk, the programme has reached a new stage at Ternopilin the city's children's hospital.

This achievement was made possible thanks to a collection organised in France by the Notre Espoir Ukraine collective (instagram.com/our_hope_ukraine)which has mobilised its donors to fund the initiative.

This gesture is proof of cross-border solidarity: French families have committed themselves to offering a place of joy and creativity to Ukrainian children in hospital, several thousand kilometres from home.

Our ambition is to multiply the number of Tsikava Hatka in as many paediatric hospitals in the country as possible. Each new installation becomes a symbol of resilience and humanity, and an invaluable tool for supporting children at difficult times.

The next two Tsikava Hatkas are already in preparation for Odesaa coastal town hard hit by the war. Here again, the aim remains the same: to give children in hospital moments of escape, creativity and light-heartedness, even in a context marked by uncertainty.

Each Tsikava Hatka costs approximately 500 euros. This amount covers manufacture in Ukraine, transport and installation in the hospital. Thanks to donations, large and small, we can make these spaces a reality for hundreds of children.

👉 Together, let's grow the Tsikava Hatka programme and bring a little light into the hospital rooms of Ukraine.
