The first fifty baby-boxes in the project, launched by our friends and partners at the Ukrainian NGO Volunteering and Help Center (vdc.in.ua) in which we are collaborating to help young mothers in the Donetsk region are ready to be delivered! This new project, targeting births in villages close to the front line in the region most affected by the war, is now under way!

These boxes for mothers and their newborns contain, for each baby, a vishivanka, a signed greetings card, a blanket, a nightlight with lullaby and clothes, and for the mothers a rucksack, a hygiene kit, cosmetics and various useful items that will be needed on a daily basis.

Thanks to the French NGO ASF Actions Santé Femmes for its support for this project and to Melanika- український бренд одягу for making vishivankas.
