A few days ago in Paris, during the march for Ukraine, there was something deeply comforting in the air. The pleasure of feeling that we are not alone. Thousands of people gathered for the same cause. Hundreds of blue and yellow flags waving in the sun. Dozens of people coming up to us to talk to us, to support us, to help us. And this year there were twice as many donations as last year. Even the sun was out in force.

On our stand at the Bastille, we were able to share the strength of our commitment, still intact after four years of Russian invasion. We organised a collection with our Normandy friends from Elan de Solidarité Cotentin-Ukraine, and raised €1,200, which was immediately used to distribute new sleeping bags as part of our Winter Hugs“ programme in Kherson”.

With us, money doesn't sleep: it comes in, it goes out, and it's used immediately for those who need it.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us, talk to us, ask questions, share a word of support or just be there. Your presence counts. Your solidarity counts.

Since 2022, we have been on the ground, alongside those who are living this war on a daily basis. Present, committed and loyal. In our small way, we are taking concrete action: developing amputee football to restore strength and confidence, delivering humanitarian aid and medical supplies, creating libraries for children in hospital, providing psychological support, etc.

Our commitment is simple: a useful, transparent and 100 % % voluntary action.
Because for us, resistance means action.

Four years later, we're still here. And we'll stay that way.
