Micro-Humanitarian Instant Impact

For the second year, we have distributed Christmas bundles to Ukrainian children from families with very low incomes. This initiative aims to bring a little joy and comfort during this festive period, despite the daily challenges faced by these communities.

This year, we distributed a total of 277 balluchons, divided into 3 age categories (0-3 years, 4-8 years and 8 years and over):

177 balluchons in Ivankiv oblast, distributed to orphans and families on very modest incomes.

100 corks in the Kherson oblast, a region located just 3 km from Russian artillery lines and subject to daily attacks.

The average salary in Ukraine was $423 in 2024, and the PGross Domestic Product per capita was estimated at less than 5 000 $ while it reaches 44 000 $ in France, 53,000 $ in Canada, and 82,000 $ in the United States. These significant differences illustrate the economic challenges facing Ukrainian families, making our support all the more essential.

For this programme, we would like to express our deep gratitude to Tomasz Loch and his wife Anna for their dedication in preparing the bags. A huge thank you also to Andy and Sara Kurtzig and their philanthropic fund JAXFund for funding this distribution. Finally, our sincere thanks to Union of Help to Kherson for their invaluable help in distributing the bundles in Kherson.

Thanks to the collaboration of these partners, we have been able to bring a little light and hope to Ukrainian children this Christmas. Your continued support is invaluable in enabling us to continue our humanitarian work.
