Offering children a place where they can learn, play and escape from everyday life: that's the aim of our latest project in Ukraine. Thanks to our friends at JaxFund/Justanswer, we were able to buy books and games to set up a small library and games library at the House of Hope, a centre located in Korotych, in the Kharkiv region.
This centre takes in mothers and their children in difficult family situations, with problems of addiction, violence or extreme poverty.
At present, 14 children live on site, and around twenty others from the neighbouring village regularly take part in the workshops organised by the local team.
With this donation, we hope to offer children a haven where imagination and play take precedence over uncertainty. Books to awaken their curiosity, games to encourage learning and sharing, and above all, a space where they can simply be children.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this initiative. Together, we continue to sow seeds of hope, one story and one game at a time.
