The first sleeping bags for our Winter Hugs winter programme have already been purchased, received and delivered to vulnerable people in Kherson, with the support of our local partner Union of Help to Kherson, with whom we have been working for three years now.
This speed of action once again illustrates our commitment to ensuring an immediate impact on the ground. Just ten days ago, we announced this project with an initial budget. Today, families are already sleeping in the warmth of their freezing flats, in neighbourhoods where collective heating no longer exists. A simple sleeping bag changes their daily lives, sometimes even their survival.
Winter is fast approaching. In the coming weeks, temperatures will drop sharply, making life even more difficult for the inhabitants of Kherson, a town regularly deprived of essential infrastructure because of Russian strikes.
Our aim is simple: to continue distributing sleeping bags throughout the winter. But to do that, we need your help.
How can we help?
The bags we found cost around €20 each.

Making a difference together
For the past three years, The Small Projects Team has been working alongside the Union of Help to Kherson (biz.ks.ua) to support the people of this devastated region. Thanks to your solidarity, we can continue to offer warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
🙏 Thank you all for your support. Let's carry on together.
