Micro-Humanitarian Instant Impact

For several months now, we have been working with our partner Union of Help to Kherson, the programme StayInTouchThis is a very simple initiative, but one designed to meet an essential need: staying connected with loved ones despite the constant power cuts. This week, 300 more families in and around Kherson received a kit consisting of a high-capacity external battery, a small solar panel and a rechargeable light bulb.

A kit won't end the war, it won't change your life. But it does allow you to keep your phone charged, despite the almost daily power cuts and Russian bombardments. And that means being able to talk to your loved ones, knowing that they're all right, receiving news, or just feeling a little less alone when the lights go out.

Each kit costs less than 15 euros. It's with simple, accessible gestures like these that we can make a real difference.

Andriy and the Union of Help to Kherson volunteers are on the ground every day to deliver this aid, often in very risky conditions. None of this would be possible without our donors, especially Andy and Kate Kurtzig, Just Answer and the American philanthropic Jax Fund.

We need your help to continue this programme.
