June 1st June is an emblematic date in Poland and Ukraine. It is the "Children's Day". Every year on this date, children receive gifts.
Polonaises Sans Frontières responded to the call of the association "Matki na Granice" ("Mothers at the border"). An association based in Wroclaw, Poland. The aim was to organise the party for the war refugee children living in this city.
In collaboration with M Patate and the Patates du CŒUR Association, a van left Paris for Wroclaw to deliver toys, clothes and food, with a focus on items dedicated to children. Part of these donations came from the collection organized in collaboration with the ONE NATION PARIS shopping center.
Thanks to the responsiveness of all the participants and to this action, the lives of refugee children was a little sweeter this 1st of June 2022.
Beyond basic needs, having enough to live on and thrive on a daily basis is crucial for children.
